I own both of these systems and the full games,
GT 5 has the realism and graphics in the bag for sure.
Forza 3 has more cars on hand (ready to buy and drive), 3 times the types of races and your tuning/customizing options are better in most aspects than GT5.
Forza 3 = Fun, wide array of stuff to do ALWAYS, lots of cars, easy to navigate
GT5 = Realistic driving experience, a more technical aspect of a racing game
Both are good but only YOU know what you like…..
@melittleflower hmm nice car lol but i am not a fanboy im pretty much butthurt because every game that PS3 gets theres always 360 fanboys on here slandering games and im pretty much fed up with it so i bite back. You may disagree but im honestly telling the truth. 360 Players just cant leave the PS3 games alone without saying aload of bad shit about it even if its the same bloody game they still have something to say about it.
no mater what or why the 360 is not a better console.. the AB XY buttons are NOT touch sensitive like they have been on the PS1 PS2 and PS3 (which is great for me because I use a 360 controller to activate programs on my PC with a program called flowstone) the point is the 360 is old tech the playstation 3 is better than the 360′s tech and the PC kills both of them. I own GT5 collectors edition and I refuse to repair my Xbox AGAIN so I quit using Xbox PERMANATLEY.

I have bothof them,and I think that B-spec on GT5 is not so good.
GT5 does look better but forza 3 runs smoother that’s all I like grid better i just wish they had more tracks more cars and wish they would let you custom your cars = (

In my opinion a game is a game it isn’t life…well to some nerds it is. I like GT5 and F3 the same both have pros over the others and both have cons but to me i love them both

There is a difference people,… GT5 is simulation. Forza 3 is close to a cartoon or like a game for kids. GT5 is the real driving simulator. Forza? 3 should be compared to NFS: Shift or something!!!
@redialator What’s the Blu Ray bit got to do with gaming?! It’s not even like the extra data capacity was used for sound cuz the sound in GT is (STILL) as dull and lifeless as it ever was.
And if cockpit view says it all why have PD only managed to do 200 when T10 managed 500 in half the time? The hand movment is much better in GT but that’s it.
Plus the car list in Forza makes GT’s look like the jap section of Autotrader.
Then there’s the online, the HUD options etc….
Forza wins.
IGN frickin had their review out the day the game was released. They barely played it and gave it a 8.5. ridculous

The game on the left looks overly saturated in colour, and the hard shadows don’t really match the broad daylight. The car body, though, looks amazing. The car on the right looks like cardboard, but its environment looks more legit (as in, actually 3D, not cheap sprites…)
