Assassins Creed 2 gameplay

Assassins creed 2 is a third person action based adventure game available on Windows PC, Playstation and Xbox 360 consoles. It takes place during the late 15th century and early 16th Italian Renaissance. You play as a man who becomes an Assassin in order to carry out the revenge of his family. The events centre around killing conspirators and power hungry individuals who want to torment the people of Italy for their own twisted purposes.

So lets look at the assassins 2 gameplay.

The game is open play based, allowing you to roam freely within several regions. So even though there’s a very intriguing story line to stick to, you can divert to as many ancillary tasks and towns that you want to.

Combat system

There is a far more comprehensive and refined combat system compared to the first game. New weapons such as smoke bombs, and assassin blades have been added. You can now administer poison, disarm your enemies, initiate counter attacks, throw sand in your foes faces and sweep them off their feet with a long weapon! When doing a disarm attack you lose your weapon but only when a stronger enemy such as a knight, knocks it out of your hand. You can pick it up again or find another one later on in the game.

You can buy armour from Blacksmiths or get it repaired by them and this will   provide you with more health bars. You can also purchase ammunition, and different weapons from swords to axes, which allows the use of almost any weapon against enemies.

Missions

There are now more missions in this game compared to Assassin’s Creed 1 which had 5 missions. Assassin’s Creed 2 has 15 varying missions such as full battles, following people and a wealth of stealth killing methods. The missions types from the first game are also included.
