Decided to do a different look at a photo I did a long time ago with my Xbox 360 controller – this time using a little bit of off camera flash action that didn’t consist of just using the ceiling as a massive softbox.
Strobist Info:
1) Canon 430EX fired at 1/16th power, 28mm zoom camera right. A piece of paper acts as a diffuser just a couple centimetres from the controller.
2) Vivitar 283 aimed at controller using several sheets of paper several centimetres from the controller as well camera left. Due to the sheets flopping over they only diffused the bottom portion of the shot.
Wish I’d taken a setup shot – it would have shown what I tried to explain much more succinctly. Definitely worth looking at large since the sharpness really shows.
Only complaint about this photo is that it reminded me of how gummed up my sensor is with dust right now. Took a couple minutes of healing in Lightroom to remove the dust bunnies.

wow where can i start, you are making a great choice by gettin a 360, it does support wireless internet through the network adapter or the included ethernet cable, its got wireless controllers, dvd playback with the option to play HD DVD’s with the external drive and loads of storage space with the 20/120 gb HDD, xbox live is also something you should check out, let me know if you want to know anything else, oh did i mention the ton of great games it has?
